Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver refrigerated flowers to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Load and unload floral products using moving equipment such as dollies and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols
Maintain the integrity of refrigerated items during transit by following proper handling procedures
Assist with warehouse organization, including inventory management, stock rotation, and cleanliness
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any special requirements or concerns
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance
Support warehouse operations through heavy lifting tasks and moving floral supplies or equipment as needed
Skills
Experience in warehouse settings with familiarity in inventory management and organization
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for driving commercial vehicles
Proficiency in operating forklifts or other moving equipment (certification preferred)
Solid customer service skills with a friendly, skilled attitude
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading, unloading, and stock handling
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with customers effectively
Physical stamina for moving, lifting, and standing for extended periods
