One of our clients is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator to operate a manual brake press machine in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience bending and forming metal parts, reading shop drawings, and using measuring tools to ensure accurate production.

Responsibilities
Operate manual brake press machinery to bend and form metal parts
Set up and adjust the machine according to job requirements
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
Select and install appropriate tooling
Load and unload materials safely
Follow production schedules and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area




Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements
Previous experience operating a manual brake press is required
Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
Valuable knowledge of measurements and dimensions
Ability to use basic measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Positive work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and handle metal materials as required

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
