We are a busy Health & Wellness Center in Milton. We are looking for a physiotherapist (residents with mentor are welcome) to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and manage his/her own practice. This position is very flexible and can begin with part-time hours with the potential to increase to full-time as the caseload grows. We have a great base of existing clients with a study flow of patients. Most of our clients are privately insured, and our team members are independent contractors. You will work with health professionals across a wide range of backgrounds. We provide full transparency into the billing and scheduling. We will book patients and manage schedule.

Responsibilities:
Making assessments of patients' physical conditions
Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients
Conducting complex mobilization techniques
Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again
Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle
Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs
Preparing and Maintaining current accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Physiotherapists
Documenting assessment results, goals, treatment,



and client progress
Completing all documents as per the requirements of various insurance companies
Collaborating with other members of the health care team and makes referrals to other internal practitioners as needed.

Requirements:
Physiotherapy license to practice in Ontario
Demonstrate the ability to use clinical judgment and perform the physical demands of physiotherapy
Organized and able to manage and oversee PTAs (if needed)
A team player with excellent communication skills and a very strong work ethic
The ability to build and maintain rapport with patients.
Qualified behavior and communication that meets the standards of the Physiotherapy College of Ontario.
Good time management skills
