Sandwich Maker / Kitchen Helper – Granville Island

Join A Bread Affair, an artisan bakery on Granville Island known for handcrafted organic breads, pastries, and sandwiches. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to prepare our fresh grab-and-go items while also supporting our pastry kitchen.

This is a part-time position working Saturdays and Sundays, and a full-time position from Friday to Tuesday in a friendly, fast-paced kitchen.

What you'll do
Prepare sandwiches and grab-and-go items to A Bread Affair standards.
Portion and prepare ingredients for daily production.
Assist the pastry kitchen with production, packaging, and other kitchen tasks as needed.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Follow FoodSafe, hygiene, and labeling procedures.
Help maintain product quality and communicate shortages or issues.

What we're looking for
Food production, café, bakery, deli,



or commercial kitchen experience.
FoodSafe certification is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Positive attitude and robust work ethic.
Reliable and able to work independently once trained.
