Join Our Team as a Building Manager!We are currently looking for a Building Manager for a residential property (Strata) based in North Vancouver. High-rise building, 27 floors, 321 units. This will be a full-time position. The Building Manager is responsible for interaction between residents, the strata council, and the property manager, and to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the building.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage and supervise the sitePerform minor handyman repairs. Monitor and maintain garbage and recycling roomsBasic security detail: checking doors, reporting suspicious activityKey holding and alarm response. Fob and enterphone programmingCall trades in the event of elevator malfunction, flood, plumbing issues, police, fire, or ambulanceCoordinate and log move-in / out bookingsCollect damage deposits for move-ins / outsPerform pre/post inspections with the residentAdministrative duties (post notices, collect funds for additional fobs / keys, submit activity reports to PM)Monitor and address parking violations and improper usage of parking areasConsistent communication with the property manager to ensure the building is secure, maintained, and running smoothlySubmit caretaker reports regularly (frequency upon PM's request)Greet residents and guests.



Respond promptly to tenant questions and requestsReport concerning issues with tenants / residents to PMRespond to noise and smoking complaintsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSProven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settingsReliable and punctualPossess a keen eye for detail.
