Driving Required

A family in Etobicoke is looking for a adaptable, experienced and proactive Housekeeper / Nanny to join their household long-term. This is primarily a housekeeping and house management role, with approximately one hour of childcare per day.

The family has two children, ages 10 months and 2 years. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and provides the majority of their care.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
$40/hour, based on experience and fit.

Every other week the family needs weekend coverage but the weekday hours will be adjusted to keep the hours within 40 hours per week.

The Role

The majority of the day will focus on housekeeping and household management.



The family is looking for someone with exceptionally high standards who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to independently manage their responsibilities.

When childcare is needed (when mom goes to an appointment, occasional babysitting etc.) the family wants someone warm and engaging who can confidently care for two young children and plan age-appropriate activities.

Experienced in professional housekeeping and household management
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Active and comfortable working in a multi-level home with many stairs
Confident caring for a baby and toddler
Respectful of Montessori principles and a screen-free workplace
Comfortable travelling with the family
Someone with a valid passport and no travel restrictions

The family spends time in Florida during the winter, and the successful candidate should be comfortable travelling with the family.

This is a outstanding long-term opportunity for someone who loves keeping a home exceptionally clean and organized while also enjoying time with young children.

The family requires a someone who drives and can use their own car for work purposes. Milage will be paid.
