Responsibilities
Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Verify that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing
Monitor food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the expediting station
Communicate effectively with kitchen team members about order status and special requests
Manage order flow using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms




Support the cleaning and organization of work stations to uphold hygiene standards

Experience
Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting preferred
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, skilled attitude
Kitchen or restaurant experience including serving, food preparation, or cashiering is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
Excellent communication skills to coordinate efficiently with team members and guests
Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is a plus
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
