Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs to create a positive, helpful experience
Operate the POS system accurately, including cash handling, debit/credit transactions, returns, and exchanges
Provide product information and recommendations to support customer decision‑making
Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and presentable




Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone with professionalism and clear communication
Support store operations by completing tasks efficiently during busy periods and managing multiple priorities
Uphold Home Hardware’s commitment to friendly service, product knowledge, and community values

Qualifications
Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset, but not required—positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage
Basic math skills and comfort handling cash with accuracy
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, or merchandising is helpful
Friendly, approachable, and customer‑focused demeanor
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a team setting
Comfortable learning about products and explaining features to customers

Pay: $17.30-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
