Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming workplace for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cash handling, and customer engagement within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks following company standards.
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and giving change.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed,



including assembling food items or snacks.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Follow all food safety regulations, including proper handling of food products and maintaining hygiene standards.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Food safety knowledge or experience is desirable to ensure proper handling of food items.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours effectively.
A friendly attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
