Join Voices 4 Ability Radio as a Reporter dedicated to telling impactful stories within the Canadian disability community. You'll focus on crafting news that informs and engages our audience through interviews and field reporting.
This position requires a passion for news and robust storytelling skills. As a Reporter, you will research and present stories that highlight the abilities of community members while collaborating with team members. You'll play a vital role in delivering accurate information and engaging programming that resonates with our listeners.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, and present news stories for broadcasts
Identify and develop compelling stories through interviews
Cover live events and breaking news as required
Conduct interviews and extract valuable information
Engage with audiences via social media and community events
Requirements:
Previous experience as a journalist
Post-secondary education in journalism required
Robust attention to detail in reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
