We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our Tool and Die shop in Wallaceburg, ON

Key Responsibilities: Program 3-axis and 3+2 axis (5-axis) CNC machines with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. Set up CNC machines for unattended operation when needed. Interpret blueprints, 3D CAD models, and tooling instructions. Utilize PowerMill for roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing toolpaths. Apply knowledge of SFM, chip load, step-over, depth of cut, and tool/material interactions. Use stock model tools to identify and remove excess material efficiently. Minimize toolpath editing by using limiting boundaries and effective strategies. Select suitable finishing strategies for high-quality surface finishes. Manage and maintain the tool database for the shop floor. Create capping surfaces in PowerShape when required. Leverage macros and templates to streamline programming processes. Organize and archive program files for future use. Collaborate with supervisors and operators for job updates and requirements. Adapt programs to handle design changes and unexpected limitations. Use Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation. Work independently and manage multiple jobs efficiently.

Qualifications: Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making,



or equivalent trade. Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming (3-axis) with 2+ years in 3+2 axis (5-axis) machining. Proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill; familiarity with PowerShape is a strong asset. Robust understanding of CNC tooling, cutting conditions, and machining best practices. Experience in tool and die environments with tight tolerances and complex geometries. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
