Job Overview
The Kamloops Surgical Centre (KSC) is seeking a perioperative Registered Nurse who is comfortable with all roles in the operating room and with a variety of surgeries and services. We work Monday to Thursday with no nights, no evenings and no on-call shifts. If you want to work in an attractive setting as part of a small team of dedicated staff, then look no further!

Duties
Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgeries, responding promptly to any changes
Administer medications as prescribed by physicians




Document all patient care activities accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education on recovery processes and discharge instructions
Other duties as required

Requirements
Current, valid registration with BCCNM
Operating Room Certification (AORN or equivalent)
BLS (preferred)
ACLS (preferred)
PALS (preferred)

Pay: From $57.00 per hour
