Arlyn Recruiting is working with our client, a leading national full-service law firm, to recruit a Compliance Paralegal to join its Corporate Commercial Group. This is an opportunity for an experienced corporate compliance professional to join an established legal team and take on a significant role supporting corporate compliance and governance matters.The successful candidate will coordinate a high-volume workflow of corporate compliance matters, working closely with lawyers, clerks, and legal support professionals. Approximately 50–75% of the role will involve billable corporate compliance work.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate a high-volume corporate compliance workflow, including:Annual resolutions for British Columbia and federal corporationsBritish Columbia and cross-Canada registrations and annual filingsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to improve and implement compliance processes and proceduresProvide guidance, training,



and mentorship to paraprofessionals on corporate compliance mattersAssist with special projects relating to corporate compliance and governanceManage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracyPerform approximately 50–75% billable corporate compliance workQualifications & ExperienceParalegal diploma and/or equivalent relevant work experienceMinimum of 10 years of experience specifically in corporate complianceStrong experience with corporate compliance requirements, including annual resolutions, registrations, and filingsExperience with corporate database technology; cloud-based technology is an assetKnowledge of iManage, Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a high-volume workflowExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesCollaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamStrong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvementAbout the OpportunityOur client offers a hybrid working environment, career development and mentoring opportunities, continuing education and training, and a competitive compensation and perks package.Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, depending on experience and other factors.
