This role focuses on supporting a supervising physiotherapist in providing individualized care for residents in long-term care settings. You will perform prescribed treatments, maintain treatment areas, and monitor residents’ status for effective therapy delivery. Solid communication is key to ensuring residents receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physiotherapist with resident treatment plans
• Perform prescribed treatments like gait and balance training
• Deliver protected exercise classes for resident groups
• Set up, maintain,



and tidy gym and treatment areas
• Communicate changes in resident status to the physiotherapist

Requirements:
• PTA/OTA diploma or related degree in Kinesiology
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus
• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
• Proof of Tuberculin clearance (2-Step Mantoux Test)
• Commitment to an inclusive and supportive work workplace.
