GENERAL DESCRIPTION Under the supervision of the Training Coordinator or other supervisory position, as a trainee and productive worker, receives on the job training in analytic practices/procedures and application and research and preparation of reports, completes assignments which will provide practical analyst experience and/or learns to review and analyze financial reports; does other related work. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the planning and organization of activities that advance the goals and objectives of the Division of Administration. Learn to analyze, develop, implement, track, and report on complex training courses, classes, and seminars to improve individual and organizational performance; provide policy guidance/assistance to management regarding training courses and training. Correspond with staff and representatives from other state agencies in a skilled manner. Learn the process for scheduling, designing and facilitating training classes, as applicable, as well as creating training manuals and materials to accompany these sessions. Learn to collaborate with Human Resources-related inquiries to ensure adequate training on how to use the eLearning system. Learn to develop and maintain talent management processes, which may involve segments of the recruitment and onboarding processes. Assists the Office of Human Resources with various employee benefit program activities.
Investigates/develops solutions to problem areas within training; identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps. Learns to maintain files and records of training programs, tuition reimbursement and developmental plans within the Board. Learn to prepare and review reports for tracking various types of employee data using systems such as excel, business objects, HRIS. Work with the Budget Office to process SARs and ensure timely processing of invoices etc. Responsible for the collection and assembly of data and information for reporting purposes, sometimes of a confidential nature. Help design and lead employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team building activities, and other engagement events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged. Support the planning and execution of culture initiatives and employee wellness programs. REQUIREMENTS NOTE: Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
