Elevate Alberta's continuing care system as a Clinical Advisor with the Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services in Edmonton. This full-time role focuses on strategic policy advancement and clinical expertise.
As a permanent Clinical Advisor, you'll provide vital clinical leadership and strategic guidance to enhance continuing care services in Alberta. You will primarily engage in policy analysis, project management, and team-oriented efforts to support clinical excellence and government objectives. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping policies and improving standards across Alberta’s health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic advice for continuing care policies and programs
• Research trends and develop evidence-based policy recommendations
• Lead complex projects to transform continuing care services
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of policies and clinical outcomes
• Foster team-oriented relationships with stakeholders and government partners
Requirements:
• Degree in nursing, health policy, or related field with 4 years of experience
• Knowledge of Alberta's health system and continuing care services
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for report preparation
• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders
