Support Inuit children and families with Inuuqatigiit Centre as a full time Social Cultural Navigator. Deliver culturally relevant programs and advocacy from Ottawa while fostering community connections.

Inuuqatigiit-Centre for Inuit Children, Youth and Families is inviting applications for a full time Social Cultural Navigator. This role is dedicated to supporting vulnerable Inuit children, youth, and their families, focusing on cultural, educational, and advocacy services. The ideal candidate will coordinate care plans, deliver cultural activities, and enhance community connections in Nunavut and Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide culturally informed support to vulnerable children and youth
• Assess needs and coordinate advocacy and referrals




• Develop navigation plans with clients for service access
• Organize cultural and social activities for families
• Maintain confidential case notes accurately

Requirements:
• Inuit descent required; fluency in Inuktitut is a plus
• Minimum two years of experience with vulnerable youth
• Diploma in social services or related field
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Mental Health First Aid training is an asset
