Position Summary

Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent chance to build hands‑on experience in a rapid‑paced retail environment. What you’ll do

- Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
- Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
- Handle and Move Merchandise Safely
- Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.

- Stocking and Customer Support

- Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.

- Overstock Organization

- Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.

- Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment

- Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

- Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

- Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
- Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
- Handles a quick‑paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.

Physical Demands

- Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
