This role empowers you to deliver the highest quality care, expand your clinical skills, and grow your practice within a respected, innovative organization committed to mental health excellence.What you’ll doProvide evidence-based therapy—both in person and digitally—from ourHalifax office, using solution-focused, brief, and longer-term modalities customized to each client’s needs and goals.Support clients through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Total Mental Health (TMH) programs, addressing complex presentations including mental health disorders, addictions, relationship concerns and workplace stressApply strength-based, client-centered approaches that honor diverse backgrounds and empower individuals to achieve meaningful changeMaintain clinical autonomy while collaborating with a Regional Clinical Supervisor who supports your professional developmentEngage in ongoing clinical consultation, peer learning and access to continuing education opportunitiesUse digital systems to work efficiently,



while leveraging initiative and adaptive problem-solving to respond effectively when processes require adjustment.Serve as the Health & Safety Representative for the office, collaborating with management on workplace safety protocolsWhat You BringRequired:Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related fieldMinimum five years of post-master's direct clinical experience with diverse populations and presenting concernsCurrent registration in good standing with one of the following: Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists NSCCT or Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW)Strong clinical competency in solution-focused therapy, brief interventions, and longer-term modalities.Ability to establish therapeutic rapport quickly with clients from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.Excellent clinical judgment, self-direction, and comfort working independently in a high-volume practice setting.Proficiency with electronic health records and digital clinical tools.Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.Experience working with blue-collar or trades populations and familiarity with workplace-related trauma preferred.Highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to adapt to energetic scheduling and caseload demands.Great-to-haves:Clinical experience with substance use disorders and addiction counselling.Previous experience in EAP, workplace mental health, or integrated care settings.Familiarity with local community resources and service networks.Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.G., CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care).What TELUS Health Offers YouComprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and paid time off,
