OverviewService Diesel Technician (Truck & Coach) role at Premier Truck Group. Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.ResponsibilitiesPerforms basic automotive and truck maintenance services including but not limited to rotating, replacing, mounting and balancing tires, adjusting fluids and coolants, oil and filter changes and brake adjustmentsMaintains a clean, efficient work area and assists in keeping the shop neatEnsures that customer vehicles are repaired accurately and kept clean - road test vehicles to ensure quality repairs the first timeDiagnoses malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs for them under the direction of a senior or master technicianFull automotive troubleshooting and testing under the direction of a senior technicianPerforms additional duties related to the repair of vehicles as required and assigned by senior or master technician or SupervisorsExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommendedDocuments all work performed and recommended on the repair orderCommunicates with service advisor and/or dispatcher if additional work is neededAids service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, interact with the customer,



or in any other way you are able to guarantee customer satisfactionMaintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policiesQualificationsA high school diploma and/or GED is required.
