Position Overview

Prairie Land Public School Division is seeking a Lead Custodian to join our Facilities team. This is a part time position commencing as soon as possible and working approximately 10 hours per week (0.25 FTE). The successful candidate will report to the Director of Facilities and will be responsible for supporting custodial operations throughout the division.

Responsibilities

- the procurement and testing of custodial products and supplies
- conducting custodial audits and inspections at schools throughout the division
- training newly hired custodians

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required to effectively manage and track a variety of responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills,



the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and the flexibility to work collaboratively with team members both independently and as part of a group.
- Experience in custodial work, training, or a supervisory capacity would be considered an asset.

Internal Application Note

For an internal applicant, the Lead Custodian responsibilities may be incorporated into the employee's existing custodial assignment, where operationally feasible, with the specific schedule and duties determined in consultation with the Director of Facilities.
