Support Eastern Kentucky University's ASL Lab as a part time Student Worker. Utilize your ASL fluency to assist peers in the Interpreter Education programs.
This role is ideal for current EKU students who possess native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language. You will engage with fellow students in a tutoring capacity, offering support and enhancing their understanding of ASL. This position requires a commitment of less than 20 hours per week, making it perfect for balancing study and work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in the ASL Lab
• Provide tutoring and support in ASL
• Facilitate learning within Interpreter Education programs
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on lab activities
• Maintain a welcoming environment for learners
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled at EKU
• Native or near-native ASL fluency
