Make a lasting impact as a Caregiver Practitioner with the Ministry of Children and Family Services in Stettler. Focus on assessing and supporting caregivers for children in need.This full time role involves working closely with kinship and foster care caregivers, ensuring they are prepared and licensed for fostering. You will develop support plans, conduct ongoing evaluations, and manage quality assessments. Relationship building with caregivers, community partners, and Indigenous communities is essential.Key Responsibilities:Assess kin and significant relationships for children/youthApprove and license foster caregiversTrain and orient new caregiversMonitor and evaluate caregiver support plansFacilitate dispute resolution processesRequirements:Bachelor of Social Work with 1 year experienceRegistration with Alberta College of Social WorkersStrong written documentation skillsAbility to assess family functioning and risksExperience in child intervention services is an assetDrive change and provide essential support in the lives of vulnerable children and their caregivers.
