We are looking for a helper for our Pastry Baker to join a dynamic team in Whitby. This is a fantastic chance to bring your fineness to our bakery, contributing to our reputation for excellence and creativity.Candidates must be able to bake from scratch.

Pastry Baker Assistant Duties:

- Keep kitchen production moving efficiently by continuous cleaning and tidying
- Wash dishes and keep them organized
- Perform baking processes as trained, with precision, to produce exceptional baked goods.
- Decorate and finish bakery items and pastries to standard
- Independently notice flaws and fix them
- Maintain the highest standards of quality control, ensuring every product meets our rigorous standards.
- Package bakery items safely and accurately for shipping
- Communicate when low on raw ingredients
- Other duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:

- Exceptional eye for detail
- Physically fit to lift bags, bins, trays, etc.
- Creativity and skill in developing new bakery products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
