As an Engineering Student within the Mechanical Analysis department, you will engage in tasks with guidance from experienced professionals. You will address critical space workplace challenges and contribute to vital design projects across various engineering domains. Your proactive approach will help deliver engineering solutions while gaining hands-on experience in a concurrent engineering atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support design of space-borne equipment with documentation and research
• Provide engineering solutions for materials related to space challenges
• Assist multiple departments including Engineering and Quality Assurance
• Contribute to laboratory testing of metallic and polymeric materials
• Draft technical documents and deliverables for client communication
Requirements:
• Minimum 90 credits in Material Science or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of advanced materials and testing equipment
• Familiarity with metallurgical processes and NDT testing
