Internal Accountant - Full Cycle (Sole Charge)We are Licensed Insolvency Trustees with offices across the province, and our long-serving Internal Accountant is retiring at the end of December. We are looking for the person who will take over the firm's entire accounting function.This is a sole-charge role. You will own the full cycle, report directly to the President & CEO, and supervise one Junior Accountant. The retiring accountant has prepared a complete procedure manual and will hand the role over in person.What You'll DoFull cycle accounting in QuickBooks Online - payables, billings, accruals, journal entries, month-end closeTrust accounting for insolvency engagements in Aryza Insolv (IPS): receipts, disbursements, interest, cheques, reconciliationsBank reconciliations for all corporate accountsSemi-monthly payroll, payroll reports, source deductions, entitlements and T4sMonthly, quarterly and annual internal financial statements, budgets and forecastsWeekly cash flow and cost management reporting for the President & CEOQuarterly GST returnsYear-end package for our external accountantSupervision and review of the Junior AccountantWhat We're Looking ForA business degree or diploma in accounting,
