Consideration will be given to Indigenous people and persons with disabilities.DutiesThe Executive Director is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership, oversight and direction to ensure successful delivery of income supports and related services to achieve the provincial goal of providing improved access to coordinated services for citizens to maximize independence, autonomy and quality of life.As a member of the department’s senior management team, the role is accountable for setting direction, driving execution, ensuring operational excellence, and ensuring outcomes meet both operational goals and strategic priorities in accordance with the mandate of the department. A combination of relevant education and experience may be consideredExtensive executive management experience encompassing strategic planning, decision making, and leading complex organizational change management, including demonstrated ability to identify and leverage opportunities for innovation and deliver creative, forward-thinking solutions in a dynamic and time sensitive environmentSolid experience translating strategic priorities into comprehensive operational and business plans, with accountability for driving execution at an enterprise level, including experience in implementing strategic performance management frameworks and measurement systems (e.G. Key Performance Indicators) to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and mandateDemonstrated executive leadership with proven ability to create, champion, foster,
