Design, develop, and deploy high‑quality backend solutions using Java (Spring Boot, microservices)
Serve as a technical reference across the team—conducting code reviews, driving design discussions, and mentoring other developers




Translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with product and business stakeholders
Own and advocate for best practices in performance, scalability, observability, and security
Partner with DevOps and Operations teams to ensure software is production‑ready and maintainable
Participate in agile ceremonies, lead retrospectives, and champion continuous improvement in team processes and outcomes
7+ years of experience building Java‑based backend systems in production environments
~ Strong experience with Spring Boot, Java 11+, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
~ Solid foundation in RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (a plus)
~ Strong business orientation: you align engineering efforts with product outcomes and organizational goals
~ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
~ Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec

Front‑end experience with HTML5, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS3, Vue.js
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP); Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and modern DevOps practices
Experience building or consuming SOAP APIs (legacy integrations)
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset in our bilingual environment
