We are hiring Production Workers for a busy automotive manufacturing facility in Schomberg, Ontario approximately 25 mins drive from Newmarket. The successful candidates will work as part of a production team manufacturing automotive components and assemblies.
This is a hands-on position suited for individuals who are comfortable working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment and following established quality and safety procedures.
What You'll Do
Perform assembly and production of automotive components
Operate production machinery and equipment after training
Assemble, inspect, and package automotive parts
Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Use basic hand tools and production equipment as required
Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Meet daily production, quality, and safety requirements
Identify and report product defects or equipment issues
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Perform material handling and other general production duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous automotive, manufacturing, assembly, or production experience required.
Ability to lift approximately 15–20 lbs
Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must be available to work the assigned shift schedule
Reliable personal vehicle is mandatory — the facility is not accessible by public transit
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
