Steelhaus boldly drives the market with creative energy solutions; fusing practical, field-proven experience, adaptable engineering, integrated manufacturing, and uncompromising safety with relentless delivery of unwavering customer service.Through continuous growth and a collective of "Can Do" attitudes, we've created an environment that allows our people to thrive, to learn, to develop and move forward.About the RoleThe Shipper & Receiver will be responsible for scheduling and controlling incoming/outgoing shipments to/from customers, vendors, suppliers etc. Ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are in good condition and tracked in inventory accurately.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentifying parts from quality control that are ready for shipmentResponsible for creating packing slips, adding machining times, and scanning a completed work package to SharePointEnsuring work packages are attached to the correct basketLoading and offloading of racking with pipe and always understanding the weight restrictions of any materials or equipment.Loading all prepared shipments safely onto the truck and to the requirements of each driverReceiving, picking, and sorting office supplies, parts, tools,



and magnesium stockPositioning the newly received stock into the shopConfirms all information for manufacturing for each received load entering the facilityConducting Pre-Use Inspections of mobile equipmentOperating equipment including hand tools, pallet jack, and forkliftManual and mechanical lifting/moving equipment, materials, and suppliesCreating the paperwork; BOL, packing slip, and tallies for driversAdhering to health and safety protocols including always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Performing routine housekeeping around the shopOccasional photocopying, printing, and other job duties assigned as requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities1-2 years shipping and receiving experience preferredBasic computer skills and ability to navigate through Shipping App and SharePointExperience with utilizing various hand toolsHeavy-duty forklift experienceCapable of moving heavy equipment, materials, and supplies up to 23 kg (50lbs)Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and supervisorsAbility to work both independently and as a part of a teamAll applicants are thanked for their interestSteelhaus Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employerSteelhaus Technologies Inc. complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
