Since our beginnings in the late 1980’s, CSFS has grown to over 550 employees providing services to 11-member Nations.ResponsibilitiesManages and oversees the general accounting functions of the department, including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Payroll.Checks the reconciliations of the balance sheet, revenue contracts and payroll for accuracy.Produces timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements.Prepares and oversees internal and external reporting.Supports and sets up the budget process each year and monitors monthly.QualificationsBachelor of Commerce with a focus on accounting, finance or a related field.Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) or Certified Aboriginal Professional Administrator (CAPA) would be an asset.Minimum 5 (five) years of program management experience.An alternative combination of education and experience may be considered.About CSFSWe live by our organization’s values of Responsibility, Compassion, Honesty, Integrity, Trust and Respect while caring and advocating for vulnerable people.
