About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Wellsite Supervisor to oversee drilling and completion operations at their sites near East London . This critical role demands strong leadership, exceptional safety focus, and a deep understanding of field operations to ensure efficient, protected, and cost-effective execution of well programs. You will be the primary point of contact on location, managing rig crews, contractors, and all operational activities. This is a demanding but rewarding role that offers the chance to directly impact project success and contribute to the company's operational objectives in the Eastern Cape . Your diligence and expertise will be paramount to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of drilling and completion operations on the wellsite.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
Manage rig crews, service providers, and other personnel on site, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
Monitor operational progress, troubleshoot issues, and make timely decisions to keep operations on schedule and within budget.




Maintain accurate daily drilling reports, cost tracking, and inventory management.
Liaise with onshore management, providing regular updates on operational status, challenges, and performance.
Requirements Significant experience as a Drilling Supervisor or Wellsite Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of drilling fluid systems, well control procedures, and completion techniques.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental best practices in field operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a remote, demanding environment.
Valid IWCF Level 3 or higher certification is required.
