Elevate Indigenous engagement as the Indigenous Relations Leader with Pinchin in Abbotsford, BC. This hybrid role focuses on relationship-building and supports strategic initiatives across Western Canada.

Pinchin seeks an experienced relationship-builder for its Mining & Natural Resources team. This full time position combines outreach with business development, emphasizing partnerships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and businesses. You will influence reconciliation commitments while advancing community-focused project delivery and growth of our practice across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust-based relationships with Indigenous Nations and communities
• Represent Pinchin at various community and cultural events
• Guide project teams on Indigenous engagement and community expectations




• Support mining proposals and Indigenous participation strategies
• Coordinate engagement activities with multiple teams

Requirements:
• Postsecondary education in Indigenous studies or related field
• Experience engaging with Indigenous organizations and businesses
• Knowledge of Indigenous protocols and contemporary issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to travel throughout Western Canada

Lead impactful initiatives and foster collaborative relationships to enhance Indigenous participation in resource projects.
