We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Grinder Operator to join a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating grinding equipment, handling plastic materials, preventing contamination, cleaning equipment, and following all required safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate plastic grinding equipment.

Inspect parts before grinding and remove foreign materials such as metal clips, plastic clips, felt, foam, and rubber.

Ensure regrind materials are properly covered, labelled, and stored.

Maintain a clean and organized grinding area.

Power down equipment properly after use.

Clean grinders thoroughly between different resin/material changeovers.

Clean grinder chambers, blades, screens, hoppers, and drawers as required.

Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning equipment.

Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, mask,



and hearing protection .

Assist with emptying scrap bins and general material-handling duties when required.

Monitor equipment and immediately report unusual noise, excessive dust, smoke, or other issues.

Perform other production duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Grinder 2024 Qualifications Minimum 1 year of plastics manufacturing experience preferred; training may be provided .

Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred.

Basic math, English, reading, and writing skills.

Ability to identify and properly handle different types of plastic resins.

Basic understanding of manufacturing quality and environmental procedures.

Ability to follow forms, tags, labels, and work instructions.

Robust attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality.
