Lead Kinross' engineering department from our hybrid office in Downtown Toronto. This role focuses on overseeing major mining projects while developing engineering talent across the organization.

As the Director of Engineering, you will report to the Senior Director, Engineering & Energy. Your leadership will span corporate engineering standards, project oversight, and talent development in a multidisciplinary mining workplace. Collaboration with Project Directors and site leadership will be crucial to drive engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee engineering standards for major mining projects
• Manage and develop engineering resources in the corporate office
• Support project management and construction activities




• Review engineering work quality and compliance through audits
• Provide technical support to site operations and engineering calculations

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 15+ years of engineering management experience
• Expertise in mining project execution and management
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
