Job Description Reporting to the Chief Assessor, the Assessment Clerk is responsible for data entry, calculations, interpretation and using a variety of systems, databases and software programs, such as Camalot Software, Asset, GIS, MLS and Microsoft Office.
This position ensures that property owners are provided with accurate information on current and previous taxes and assessments and provides expert technical assistance to departmental staff.
The Assessment Clerk may provide backup support to the Finance Department by responding to the public in answering questions and phone calls or redirecting as required.
