Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Cowichan Valley or Victoria, BC
TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for a Municipal Engineer / Project Manager to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in a rapidly growing region of British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
Lead municipal infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, water/wastewater systems, bridges, and parks.
Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.
Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, cost estimates, and contract documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
P.Eng. or P.L.Eng. designation in valuable standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
5+ years of municipal engineering and project management experience.
Strong leadership, client management, and business development skills.
Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Experience working with municipalities, developers, and contractors is considered an asset.
