Position Details Position Title: Pre‑loaders
Position Type: Permanent
Work Hours: 4:00AM – 9:00AM*
Workdays: Monday to Friday*
Location: Madsen Rd, Nanaimo BC
Shift schedules may vary based on operational requirements
Responsibilities Preloaders are responsible for unloading and loading packages off and on trailers, air canisters and other vehicles early in the morning.
Lifting, lowering, and moving of packages weighing between 10 to 70lbs.
Scanning and sorting packages based on postal codes, addresses, package dimensions.
Understanding and recognizing postal codes, routing charts and maps.
Standing closely with conveyor, roller belts and other equipment in the warehouse.
Working in a team environment to ensure efficient transfer of packages.
Qualifications Available to work Monday to Friday*
Ability to follow set of safety and standard procedures; Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding work setting; Able to regularly and safely lift packages between 10-lbs up to 70-lbs unassisted;
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.




Warehouse experience is considered an asset but not required.
All candidates must go through a series of interviews, background and reference checks.
