About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer to direct key engineering projects and process improvements in Kimberley . In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with operational teams to achieve manufacturing excellence. This is a vital position for driving innovation and maintaining high operational standards within the company's strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Lead the technical development and implementation of complex chemical process designs.
Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of process engineers.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for process-related initiatives.
Ensure all processes meet stringent safety, environmental, and quality standards.




Analyze process data and implement strategies for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Requirements Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
8+ years of progressive experience in process engineering, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Expertise in process simulation , P&ID; development, and project management.
Proven experience with HAZOP, LOPA, and other process safety methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
