Become a vital part of Nexans as a Materials & Qualification Specialist, enhancing supply chain efficiencies in North America. Lead technical qualifications and certifications for innovative cable systems.

In this specialized role, you will report to the Engineering and Technical Director, actively engaging with North America’s commercial and technical teams. Your expertise will support CSA/UL certifications, ensuring compliance across raw materials and finished goods. Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to vet new suppliers and optimize processes for efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage CSA/UL qualification projects for manufacturing sites
• Support evaluation and approval of current raw material suppliers




• Oversee technical aspects of inter-company cable supply chains
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Provide technical support for commercialization and marketing initiatives

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in cable design or engineering
• Strong knowledge of CSA and UL standards
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
• Engineering or technology degree required
• Willingness to travel globally for projects
