Salon Darbourg Les Saules situated in Québec, QC is seeking applications for the job position of Hairdresser who are enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate for this position is expected to start work as quickly as possible. The role being offered is Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift timings for this position include the Day, Evening, Weekend and Morning.

The candidate must cut and trim hair according to the client's instructions or preferences.

The candidate will be responsible for shampooing customers' hair.

The candidate must shave and trim mustaches and beards.

The candidate will be responsible for providing additional hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.

The candidate must colour, frost, or streak hair using bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses.

The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.

The candidate must suggest hairstyles that are compatible with the client's physical features and preferences.

The candidate must perform receptionist duties.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in French language.

The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

The candidate should be client focused.

Hair styling techniques

The candidate must be skilled in hair styling techniques such as blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, twisting, locking and relaxing.

Hair colouring techniques

The candidate must be skilled in hair colouring techniques such as bleaching, dyes/tints, frosting and streaking/highlighting.

Transportation/travel information

The candidate must have their own transportation.

The candidate must have their own vehicle.

The candidate has access to public transportation.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.

The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.

The candidate should have an eye for details.
