The BC Centre for Ability (BCCFA), a recognized provider since 1969, seeks a Social Worker Grade I - MSW. In this role, you will coordinate social work activities, assist clients in skill development, and collaborate with community resources to ensure comprehensive care. Your efforts will directly impact the lives of children, youth, and adults with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to client inquiries about available programs
• Plan and evaluate social work activities collaboratively
• Facilitate referrals and resource access for clients
• Provide individualized coaching in social emotional skills
• Conduct client family meetings for service planning
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with children with special needs
• Knowledge of Family-Centered Practice principles
• Registered with BCCSW and possess a valid driver’s license
• Solid communication and organization skills
