Wage: $62,400.00 to $76,960 annually, based on a 40-hour work week.
Paid Vacation: 5 weeks of paid vacation.

Park Place Seniors Living is seeking a hands-on and dependable Maintenance Manager to join our team in Squamish, British Columbia. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the building, physical plant, grounds, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
You will lead preventative maintenance activities, prioritize repairs and projects, oversee maintenance employees and contractors, manage maintenance and capital budgets, and support fire safety, workplace safety, infection prevention, risk management, and quality improvement programs.
As a member of the site leadership team, you will also contribute to operational, staffing, budget, and policy decisions while helping foster a solid culture of safety and respect.
What You’ll Do Lead and maintain the site’s preventative maintenance program
Plan and completed building, equipment, and grounds maintenance
Prioritize emergency repairs, major projects, routine work, and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and complete repairs when appropriate and coordinate qualified contractors when required
Obtain quotations and oversee contractors to ensure work meets specifications
Manage budgets for facility repairs, maintenance, and capital projects
Prepare capital budget submissions for facility improvements and renovations
Maintain accurate documentation to support inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate fire drills and provide fire-safety education to employees
Inspect rooms and address maintenance or safety concerns before resident move-ins
Participate in occupational health and safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Respond to emergency building and maintenance issues
Treat residents with dignity, care, and respect in every interaction
What You Bring Several years of recent, related maintenance experience
Previous facility-management experience is preferred
Journeyperson certificate in an appropriate building-maintenance trade is an asset
Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, structural, and roofing systems
Knowledge of maintenance processes and health and safety requirements
Experience coordinating contractors
Strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Effective computer skills
Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
Ability to pass a vulnerable sector criminal background check
