Join Tlicho Community Services Agency as the Nurse in Charge, Long Term Care and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for Elders and residents at the Jimmy Erasmus Seniors Home. This is more than a nursing position. It's an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, inspire excellence in resident care, and contribute to a community where relationships, culture, dignity, and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the long-term care facility.

Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and staff development.

Ensure the delivery of safe, quality nursing and resident care.

Develop, implement,



and monitor resident care plans.

Provide clinical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing and support staff.

Collaborate with physicians, families, and healthcare professionals to support resident well-being.

Monitor quality improvement initiatives, audits, and program evaluations.

Promote culturally respectful, resident-centered care.

Key Qualifications

A Bachelor of Nursing Degree; and

A Minimum three (3) years of recent RN experience, including:

One (1) year in Long Term Care;

One (1) year of supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements

Must eligible for registration with CANNN and be registered before working in the NWT.

Class 5 Drivers license
