The Job
This is a temporary, full time position reporting to the Information Services Manager. This position works from the Barrie Head Office (but may include travel to branch offices) and primarily requires in-office attendance. This position will be responsible for: imaging, backing up data and deployment of agency cell phones and laptops,



secure data cleaningand to provide information systems technical assistance to Society staff.This is a Bargaining Unit position with CUPE Local 5319.

Qualifications
Minimum College Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and related field experience. Applicants with a related University Degree are also welcomed to apply.
A thorough knowledge of a full range of information systems, software, hardware, and networks. This includes, but is not limited to various versions of Microsoft Hyper-V, Veeam, Windows Server OS, Windows Desktop OS, SQL, SCCM, Azure and Office 365.
Ability to keep knowledge current for all information systems, network, software and hardware technologies, phone systems, video conferencing systems, projectors, audio/video and printing/copying systems.
A capacity to learn program features quickly, often in a self-directed manner.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a robust ability to analyze and remedy information systems, computer, network, software and hardware difficulties.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills including the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively.
Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills & ability to work effectively under pressure to tight timelines, competing priorities and emergent issues.
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
A valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle are required.

Compensation
The salary range is $62,430 to $77,027 commensurate with experience.
