Job Number: 56172Are you a skilled mechanical expert ready to manage and maintain critical infrastructure? As a Mechanical Repair Worker I, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring the seamless functionality of essential systems like mobile vehicle exhaust rails and climate control air compressors across our core facilities. You will apply your expertise to swiftly identify mechanical failures, troubleshoot complex, interconnected systems, and proactively prevent unscheduled breakdowns, contributing directly to safe and efficient facility operations.What will you do?Working with and under the direction of a Maintenance Repair Person IIPerform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and service of air compressors and associated pipingMaintain and service rail-mounted, mobile vehicle exhaust conveyance systemsTroubleshoot low voltage electrical systems and rotating equipmentTriage requests and direct the work of other maintenance repair workersCoordinate service outages in core buildings with tenants and emergency servicesManage inventory for parts with long delivery times and keep accurate maintenance recordsQualifications:Completion of Grade 10Experience and familiarity with a variety of building mechanical systemsSkills required for success:Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building mechanical systemsAbility to read and understand technical service manualsEffective written and oral communication,
