Details of the position
Teaching Subject : Occupational Health & Safety Trainer / Expert
You will collaboratte on a provincial project aimend at training members and representatives in businesses across Quebec
School/Centre : Continuing Education
Status : Hourly paid
Workload (%):
Deliver the 7 hour training progream ( Two 3.5 hour sessions) developped by CNESST to groups of 15 to 25 participants online.
The assignment inlcudes 21 hours of online training from November through June wiht the possiblibilty of continuing in 2027-2028.
A 10.5 hour online Train-the Trainer progream will also be provided befoerhand
We offer several teaching scheduels to accomodate your availability and client demand, including daytime and evening options.
Effective Date : November 2026
Salary : As per the current collective agreement: $76.69 or $82.86
Supervisor : Assistant Centre Director Continuing Education
Required qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Hold a vocational training diploma, college diploma, or bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field of specilalization.
For diplomas obtained abroad, the comparative evaluation of studies completed outside Quebec issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration attesting that you have a bachelor's degree is required.
Other:
Have 3 to 5 years of experience providing Occupational Health and Safety training.
Have solid communication & interpersonal skills
Have experience facilitating synchronous online training
Bilingual (French and English) and be able to teach fluently in both languages
Expereince providingtraining to adults and businesses is considered an asset
