Enhance your impact as a Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Clinician with Fraser Health. This role includes intensive therapy, assessment services, and coordination support within the community.
As a key clinician within Fraser Health's MHSU program, you will engage deeply with clients experiencing complex mental health and substance use issues. This position requires providing individual and group therapy while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You will be responsible for intake, assessment, and follow-up, aiming for recovery-oriented outcomes throughout the care continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver treatment and support to clients in crisis
• Provide individual/group therapy and family support
• Conduct client intake, assessments, and screenings
• Coordinate with hospitals, police, and community services
• Facilitate family and community education sessions
Requirements:
• Relevant master's degree and clinical experience
• Expertise in trauma-informed care practices
• Solid assessment and communication skills
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively
• Commitment to client-centered, evidence-based approaches
