Join Keewatinohk Inniniw Minoayawin as a Peer Support Worker in Thompson, Manitoba. This hybrid position focuses on providing trauma-informed, culturally grounded support to unhoused community members in Northern Manitoba.

As a Peer Support Worker with the Minoayawin Mobile Outreach Program, you will leverage your lived experience and relational skills to assist members facing barriers to care. This includes promoting harm reduction, connecting individuals to resources, and organizing community wellness activities. You'll play a critical role in creating safe, welcoming environments for individuals to access services and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting relationships through community engagement
• Facilitate access to primary care and harm reduction services
• Provide immediate emotional and navigational support




• Assist with Elder-led cultural care and community programming
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care

Requirements:
• High school diploma; community service worker diploma preferred
• Lived experience in Indigenous racism-free spaces
• Experience in health, social services, or outreach roles
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to cultural safety
• Valid Class 5 driver's license is required
