As a Senior Associate on Coinbase Canada’s Compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the compliance program under FINTRAC guidelines. You’ll partner with the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring Coinbase meets its regulatory obligations while managing compliance cases and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own AML/ATF compliance reporting, ensuring timely submissions to FINTRAC
• Manage compliance cases, providing guidance on escalations and high-risk matters
• Track FINTRAC announcements and provide actionable compliance updates




• Coordinate RFIs and support documentation extraction for fiat partners
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline KYC and compliance reporting processes

Requirements:
• 5+ years financial crimes compliance experience in financial services
• Deep knowledge of Canadian compliance regulations including FINTRAC
• Proven track record in managing compliance cases and regulatory filings
• Robust understanding of cryptocurrency transaction flows and monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
